Kyushu University Collections -Asian academic exchanges during foundation of the university and old atlas

Kyushu University holds “Kyushu University Collections -Asian academic exchanges during foundation of the university and old atlas” during Asia Week 2020 utilizing the latest digital archive technology to disseminate collection materials and artifacts in the university related to Asia toward not only Asia, but also the world.

Kyushu University has the University Library, University Museum, and University Archives, each of which has a vast amount of various historical materials and specimens accumulated over the long history since its establishment.

This time, as a new attempt in collaboration with the three facilities, we are planning to display the digital archives of valuable Asian-related materials owned by Kyushu University.

On the special page, you can easily access the books, historical materials, etc. that prove as which Kyushu University and the places (Fukuoka and Kyushu) where to be located have been interacting with Asian countries and people. Please enjoy rare materials that you can’t usually see in a unique way that digital exhibits can.
